What time can I check in?
Your room will be ready from 3:00 pm. From this time you can check in at the reception desk. The latest check-in time is 21:00.

What time can I check out?
We ask that you leave your room and check out by 11:00 am.

Can I also book an early check-in or late check-out?
We love that you want to enjoy your stay extra long, however, early check-in or late check-out is only possible based on availability and at a cost of 10,- euros per hour. Please call the reception desk one day before arrival for this purpose.

Where can I find the reception desk?
The reception desk is located immediately upon entering on the left.

Is there always someone available at the reception desk?
From 7:00 in the morning until 23:00 in the evening there is a reception staff present. After 23:00 our night porter is present in the castle, if there is anything you can contact the night porter by calling the phone located on the nightstand. Click on the button with reception and you will get our night porter on the phone.

I don’t have a credit card. How can I pay?
With us you can pay with debit card, credit card, gift certificate of Kasteel de Wittenburg, cash except 200 and 500 bills.

What are the times I can eat breakfast?
Breakfast is available from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.

Is there a restaurant in the castle?
Kasteel de Wittenburg is home to our Restaurant Sophie. We recommend making reservations in advance. What are the restaurant opening hours?
Wednesday through Sunday for drinks and dinner from 17:00 – 23:00
Our kitchen is open until 22:00.

Do you have a place to park a bike?
We have a bicycle shed, not lockable. Here you can park your bicycles during your stay.

Does the castle have an elevator?
There is no elevator in the castle. If necessary, it is possible to enter the castle by means of the chair elevator, however, unfortunately you will not get to the hotel rooms this way.

Can I rent a crib?
Unfortunately, we do not have cribs available.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed at Kasteel de Wittenburg.

I made a reservation, but I did not receive the confirmation?
It is best to contact us directly at: 070-51 51 500.

What is your cancellation policy?
A credit card guarantee is required to guarantee your reservation. There is no cancellation fee if a booking is cancelled before 9 a.m., 48 hours before your arrival date. If a booking is cancelled later, or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. What does “non-refundable” mean?
“Non-refundable” or “non-refundable” means that you book a room, where once the booking is finalized you cannot subsequently cancel the room, without a refund of all or part of the amount.”

Can I park?
You can park for free on the estate of Kasteel de Wittenburg.

Can I charge my electric car or bicycle with you?
Yes, we have multiple charging stations for cars and bikes. Are you taking advantage of these? Please also think of the other hotel guests and do not leave your vehicle unnecessarily at the charging station. Bike rental
During your stay it is possible to rent a bike from us. The cost is 17.50 euros per bicycle per day. An electric bicycle is possible on request at an additional charge. Depending on availability. For questions, please contact our reception at 071 51 51 500.

Can I have a photo shoot at your place?
If the vows are made at Kasteel de Wittenburg, the bride and groom are free to take wedding photos. This is not possible for other couples or other purposes.

Is there also an opportunity to hold a condolence?

I have a food allergy, can you take this into consideration?
Yes. You can tell us in advance when making the reservation.

• Take the N44 in the direction of Wassenaar.
• At the fourth traffic light, turn right on the Wassenaar Zuid exit onto van der Oudemeulenlaan.
• At the end of the avenue, turn left onto Stoeplaan.
• In this avenue, turn left immediately in the bend to Bloemcamplaan.
• The castle is located between house numbers 55 and 57 on Landgoed de Wittenburg 1.

From The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht

• At the end of the A12 (Utrechtse Baan) turn right towards Wassenaar to the Rijksstraatweg.
• After the overpass and Motel de Bijhorst (v.d. Valk), take the exit to the left, towards Wassenaar Zuid.
• This will take you to the van der Oudermeulenlaan. Here, at the end, turn left onto Stoeplaan.
• Here turn left immediately in the bend to Bloemcamplaan.
• The castle is located between house numbers 55 and 57 on Landgoed de Wittenburg 1.

Bus stop Kerkehout (bus 90, Qliner 386)
From bus stop Het Kerkehout you will see a tunnel on your right, go through it then turn right, walk approx.50 meters (towards The Hague) and turn left (at the level of two white pillars) into the forest path, follow the forest path and you will arrive at Kasteel de Wittenburg.

Bus stop Beukenhorstlaan (bus 43 and 44)
From bus stop Beukenhorstlaan turn right into Bloemcamplaan from there continue straight ahead on the footpath between the houses, this footpath connects to the driveway of Kasteel de Wittenburg.
