Public transport
From the Het Kerkehout bus stop, you will see a tunnel on your right-hand side. Walk through the tunnel, then turn right. Continue for approximately 50 metres (in the direction of The Hague) and turn left at the two white pillars, onto the forest path. Follow this path and it will lead you to Kasteel de Wittenburg.
From the Beukenhorstlaan bus stop, turn right onto Bloemcamplaan. From there, continue straight ahead along the footpath between the houses. This path will lead you to the driveway of Kasteel de Wittenburg.
Directions by car
- Take the N44 towards Wassenaar
- At the fourth set of traffic lights, turn right at the exit Wassenaar-Zuid onto Van der Oudermeulenlaan
- At the end of the road, turn left onto Stoeplaan
- Follow this road and take the first left in the bend onto Bloemcamplaan
- The castle is located between house numbers 55 and 57, at Landgoed de Wittenburg 1
- At the end of the A12 (Utrechtse Baan), turn right towards Wassenaar onto Rijksstraatweg
- After the viaduct and Motel De Bijhorst (Van der Valk), take the left exit towards Wassenaar-Zuid
- This will lead you onto Van der Oudermeulenlaan. At the end of the road, turn left onto Stoeplaan
- Then take the first left in the bend onto Bloemcamplaan
- The castle is located between house numbers 55 and 57, at Landgoed de Wittenburg 1
