Public transportation

From bus stop Het Kerkehout you will see a tunnel on your right, go through it then turn right, walk about 50 meters (towards The Hague) and turn left (at the height of two white pillars) into the forest path, follow the forest path and you will arrive at Kasteel de Wittenburg.

From bus stop Beukenhorstlaan turn right into Bloemcamplaan and continue straight ahead on the footpath between the houses, this footpath connects to the driveway of Kasteel de Wittenburg.

Route by car

  • Take the N44 in the direction of Wassenaar.
  • At the fourth traffic light, turn right on the Wassenaar Zuid exit onto van der Oudemeulenlaan.
  • At the end of the avenue, turn left onto Stoeplaan.
  • In this avenue, turn left immediately in the bend to Bloemcamplaan.
  • The castle is located between house numbers 55 and 57 on Landgoed de Wittenburg 1.
  • At the end of the A12 (Utrechtse Baan) turn right towards Wassenaar to the Rijksstraatweg.
  • After the overpass and Motel de Bijhorst (v.d. Valk), take the exit to the left, towards Wassenaar Zuid.
  • This will take you to the van der Oudermeulenlaan. Here, at the end, turn left onto Stoeplaan.
  • Here turn left immediately in the bend to Bloemcamplaan.
  • The castle is located between house numbers 55 and 57 on Landgoed de Wittenburg 1.
