Welcome to Restaurant Sophie, the enchanting heart of Kasteel de Wittenburg.
Here, amidst a hidden spot surrounded by nature, thanks to chef Jim Boctor and restaurant manager Disha Birjmohun, a story comes to life with history and a touch of mystery.
The restaurant is named after me, Sophie Adrienne Baroness Sloet van Oldruitenborgh. Together with my beloved husband Jonkheer Speelman, we were the very first residents of this castle and together we made countless trips around the world. The traces of our explorations are immortalized in the beautiful rooms of our castle.
Group reservations for lunch or dinner
Wednesday through Sunday, we serve lunch or dinner for groups of 10 or more. Our restaurant has room for a long table of up to 24 people and on our terrace we can accommodate up to 30 people. Our chef has created some delicious menus that we are happy to discuss with you. We naturally take into account any allergies or dietary requirements. Groups under 10 people can order from our a la carte menu.
